User Roles

There are 4 roles:

Employee -

Employees can create Expenses and Advance Reports.

Project Manager -

Project Manager can approve expenses and advances reports.

Finance -

Finance can mark the expense and advance reports as paid.

Accountant -

Accountants can download reports from web app.

Features

Once an employee logs in, he/she will be redirected to Dashboard screen.

Dashboard screen consists of Net Balance, which will display the current balance of the Employee.

The Net Balance is calculated as follows:

  • Any Advance request made by the employee once approved and paid will be incremented to the net balance.
  • If Expense request is made by the employee, once approved then if the net balance is positive the expense amount will be deducted and marked as paid.
  • But if net balance is 0 or negative then once approved the expense report will reach the finance person which will mark the report as paid and that amount will be incremented in net balance.

3 cards are also displayed on the dashboard which refers to the Total Expense paid, Advance Received, Total Amount Credited.

Latest Expense Reports and Advance Reports are also being displayed in the dashboard Screen with their respective status (pending, approved, paid).

There are shortcut buttons too which will directly take the user to expenses and advances list screen and create expense and advanced screen.
